RippleTone is a wall-mounted Bluetooth speaker intended for use as wall decor with a function. Rather than being an obvious object with no set storage place, the RippleTone is a discrete speaker that works with the aesthetic of a room. Lined with felt to improve sound quality, its acoustics match the external features. A parametric design showing sound waves and ripples.
The Need
As interiors shift toward intentional, multifunctional objects, RippleTone responds to minimalist trends by offering a speaker that blends into the environment while delivering acoustics that reflect its crafted, ripple-driven form.

Designed in Rhino 8, RippleTone was built around CYOEST Bluetooth speaker components. With the structure's body 3D-printed with a laser-cut back panel completing the assembly, keeping the form clean and the layout efficient.
